Two nights ago I saw Jamie Lidell at the Filmore. I had high expectations after seeing hime 3 times previously, but the sound was off and he might have been too (more so than usual). Something was wrong with the bass.

Janelle Monáe opened, and totally caught me off guard. Definitely a new type of high-energy beat drive guitar rocked show for me, and boy could she freakin sing (and dance/fraggle)!
